If you could have dinner with any biblical figure, who would it be and why?

If I could share a meal with any biblical figure, it would be Paul. I admire his boldness and unwavering commitment to what he believed in. His willingness to stand firm in the face of adversity is truly inspiring, and I aspire to follow his example. Paul's visionary approach and refusal to conform to cultural norms resonate deeply with me. One of the reasons I'm drawn to following Jesus is because of his radical departure from societal norms, and Paul exemplifies that same spirit of courage and conviction.

What's your favorite scripture verse and why does it hold significance for you?

One scripture verse that holds significant meaning for me is Luke 12:32, where Jesus reassures his followers not to worry, stating, "It is the Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." This verse resonates deeply with me because it reflects God's incredible generosity and love. Despite our unworthiness, God desires to bless us with the fullness of his kingdom. This reminder brings me comfort and fills me with gratitude, emphasizing the abundant grace and provision that God offers to his children.

If you weren't a pastor, what profession do you think you would be pursuing and why?

If I weren't a pastor, I believe I would have pursued a career in the medical field. After graduating college with a degree in biology, my initial plan was to attend medical school. This choice would have been driven by my desire to help people, a passion deeply rooted in my personal experiences. I find great fulfillment in bringing hope and grace into challenging life situations, inspired by the compassion and support I've received from God in my own journey.
